Jimmy Carter Lowers the Bar
Obviously concerned about the probability of being undertaken by Barack Obama for the position of worst president ever, Jimmy Carter decided to remind people of what a despicable failure he was as president and since then as an annoying, anti-semetic, moronic ex-president.
Former President Jimmy Carter said Tuesday that U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson's outburst to President Barack Obama during a speech to Congress last week was an act "based on racism" and rooted in fears of a black president. "I think it's based on racism," Carter said at a town hall held at his presidential center in Atlanta.Nice. A former president actually can read Congressman Wilson's mind and knows he called Obama a liar because he is black and not just because he was lying. Amazing.
What makes Carter's attempts even more pathetic is despite his efforts he still was not as bad a president as James Buchanan. Not for lack of effort, but for lack of opportunity. The strife between free states and slave states gave Buchanan a greater chance to be the worst ever. And Buchanan made the most of that opportunity.
