Someone Arrested for Choosing a Late Term Abortion! Where are the Protests from NOW & NARAL???

A 21-year-old in Oakland was arrested for choosing a late term abortion and yet there haven't been any protests from the National Organization for Women (NOW) or National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL). Wonder why? Could it be because it was a male that chose a late term abortion? It can't be due to the babies age. Once you decide killing a little kid is okay then the age shouldn't be a big issue.
A 21-year-old Oakland man is in police custody after he threw his baby daughter into the path of a moving car, according to cops.

Police say an off-duty officer saw the man, later identified as John Taylor, shake the 18-month girl and throw her into oncoming traffic on Fifth Avenue near East 15th Street around 5:39 p.m. Saturday. A Volkswagen Jetta almost hit the toddler, police say, and the car's undercarriage burned and scraped the girl.
Thankfully, the child somehow survived the abortion attempt. Sadly, the child will likely be returned to the same environment and remain in danger.

A quote from later in the article showed the child's "mother" is a real winner as well:
"I'm hurting now because I know my baby's father is in jail facing charges and I don't feel that it is reasonable," the girl's mother, Alena Bartholemew told NBC Bay Area.

Dishonest Headline/Article of the Day

It is one thing to slightly slant news coverage or to give the benefit of doubt. It is another thing altogether to completely lie as James Oliphant and Christi Parson did in an article titled:
Kagan's abortion stance has both sides guessing
What?!?

We have someone appointed by the most pro-abortion president (You know, the creep who wouldn't want his daughters punished with a baby. In other words, he would prefer his grandchildren be murdered than be inconvenient.). Do you need to guess whether he would appoint a supreme court justice that has any qualms about infanticide?

I will hope and pray she comes around to see abortion for the evil it is, but I'm not silly enough to think I need to guess what her views are as of the day President Obama nominated her. I guarantee you Obama isn't guessing about this question.

Stupak Caves - No Word Yet on Delivery of Thirty Pieces of Silver

This afternoon Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI) proved that a "pro-life" Democrat is only pro-life enough to get a vote during an election but not pro-life enough to cast a vote once elected. He actually switched his vote to yes on the horrendous socialized health care plan after getting a promise from President Obama. Keep in mind this is the same president who is so pro-abortion he stated he wouldn't want his daughters "punished with a baby." Also keep in mind this is the president who is so trustworthy he promised health care talks would be transparent and public.

In the end we have a "pro-life" politician voting for a health care plan that will fund abortion with funds confiscated from tax payers based on a promise from a dishonest Chicago politician.

UPDATE: Rep. Stupak does have a challenger in November, Dan Benishek. I imagine his campaign will get a lot of $30 donations after today.

UPDATE #2: How does one weigh the value of their principles against serious pork rewards for their district? I guess it comes down to how many votes one believes they might get for obtaining the pork from DC (oh yeah, and placing little or no value on your principles).

Under 37 years old? Thank Your Mother for Not Killing You as Authorized by the Supreme Court

37 years ago today in an horrendous decision the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that the weakest and most innocent of human beings could be killed at the whim of their mother. Since that ruling nearly fifty million children have been killed for the crime of being inconvenient. It is the darkest stain on our great nation since the ending of the existence of human slavery.

What can be done?

Pray for the children.
Pray for expectant mothers that they accept and love their children.
Pray for our elected representatives that they will correct this grave evil.
Work to only elect people who know good from evil.
Pray to convert the hearts of those who are unable to recognize evil.

Afternoon Sign of the Apocalypse

I have no right to expect that other people should share my belief system. However, when someone professes to share a belief in God I can't help but be perturbed when they publicly mention God in an attempt to justify evil. Here is an example:
Rev. Carlton Veazey, president and CEO of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, told a small crowd of pro-abortion protesters that women have a “God-given right” to abortion and that opposition from pro-life congressmen and religious leaders would never take it away.

I can almost understand an atheist saying they don't believe in God so they have no problem with the notion of killing little kids. However, there has to be a special inner circle of hell reserved for someone who calls himself a Christian (Baptist) reverend and then actively promotes the advancement of evil by referring to it as a "God given right." Disgusting.

Breaking News: Vigilante Justice in Kansas?

I don't condone nor applaud vigilante style "justice." However, when our government fails to protect the weakest among us we can not be too surprised when someone decides to take the law into their own hands. Here is the latest example:
George Tiller, the Wichita doctor who became a national lightning rod in the debate over abortion, was shot to death this morning as he walked into church services.
This senseless killing could have been avoided if our government had done it's duty.

May God have mercy on his soul.

Florida Man Arrested for Late Term Abortion

This is a natural outgrowth of our society's acceptance of infanticide as just another personal choice:
TAMPA, FL -- Authorities have arrested a man they believe threw an infant from a car along I-275 Tuesday morning. The 3-month-old boy died.

Jasmine Bedwell, said that she and McTear were fighting and that she and her 3-month-old son had been battered. Bedwell told the operator the man picked up the baby and threw him on the concrete. She said he then picked up the child and took off in a blue 4-door Chevrolet Impala.

When asked how he could throw a baby out the window, McTear responded "It's a dirty game."
I guess it is being considered a crime because he didn't go to medical school.

The Order of Canada and a Question of Diminished Honor

Some Canadians are justifiably upset by the current administrations decision to award the nation's highest civilian honor, the Order of Canada, to Henry Morgentaler. Who is Henry Morgentaler? He is the "father" of the Canadian abortion industry. He has been a controversial figure since 1967 when he testified before a government committee saying that women should have the right to abortion. In 1970, Morgentaler was arrested in Montreal for performing illegal abortions. And now Canadian leadership wants to honor this criminal.

Usually when we hear of an award like this going to a poor choice we hear some grumbling and then the issue is forgotten. However, in Canada the feelings about this character and his legacy are so strong that past recipients are returning their medals and resigning from the Society of the Order of Canada. Here is one example:
"If Dr. Morgentaler becomes a member, the Order of Canada for me has decreased in value," Gilbert Finn, 87, said yesterday from his home in Dieppe, N.B. "I cannot be a member of the Order of Canada with a man of such a reputation."

An Acadian businessman and former rector at the University of Moncton, as well as New Brunswick's lieutenant-governor from 1987 to 1994, Mr. Finn was named a member of the Order of Canada in 1974 and an officer in 1979.

"I'm waiting to know whether he is admitted to the order or not," Mr. Finn said. "If he is to get it officially, the same day, I'm planning to tell the Governor-General that I wish to get out of the order myself."

Michael Coren of the Toronto Sun has a good take on this award decision in an article titled "Abort this Award."

Bottom line: A society becomes that which it honors. If a society honors evil . . .

A sad postscript to this is Morgentaler grew up in Poland, lost family members to the holocaust and barely survived himself and then he chose to use his second lease on life to contribute to another holocaust.

Tony Perkins Asks Barack Obama an Important Question

I saw this commercial on TV last week and was struck by how clear cut and straight forward the hypocrisy of abortion proponents was revealed. Here is a link to the Youtube of the commercial: Tony Perkins Asks Barack Obama: When Does Life Begin?
If Sen. Obama can claim a father's responsibility begins at conception then how can he simultaneously argue that mothers have the choice to kill that child? Is there a nine month delay on maternal responsibility?
